This season, Ballard FC will call Memorial Stadium home.
Located in the heart of Seattle Center, Memorial is an iconic setting filled with history from teams past and present in Seattle soccer. We’re honored to be a part of this legacy and bring the traits you’ve come to expect at a BFC match to Memorial, including a fun and family-friendly atmosphere with field-level viewing, Reuben’s Brews beer garden, local food options, and more.
TRANSPORTATION – THE “HOW TOS” OF MATCH DAY
With limited parking and in the spirit of promoting a greener stadium experience, Ballard FC recommends the following ways of getting to our matches:
Reuben’s Brews Shuttle – we’re excited to announce a ticketed shuttle ride option for all USL2 matches this regular season at home! Tickets are now available for individual purchase for our shuttle program at an affordable rate of $8.50 per person round trip. Once purchased shuttle tickets are non refundable, but just like game tickets, are available for resale and transferring to other parties.
Shuttles will depart from Reuben’s Brews Ballard Taproom in waves before the match and operate first come, first serve post match for the return trip. More information is available on our tickets page at the point of purchase.
Bus with King County Metro – With Memorial’s central location in Seattle, there are many accessible bus routes to the stadium. We’re also proud to partner with King County Metro this year and encourage you to look up your most convenient bus route to the match – including the Rapid D (Ballard) and E (Aurora) options from King County Metro. (*More bus info at the bottom of the page).
Bicycle – We are proud to offer safe and secure IN-STADIUM bicycle parking this year at Memorial. Bicyclists will use the northeast entrance of the stadium to enter and park their bikes. This entrance is specifically reserved for those who arrive via shuttle, bus, foot, or bicycle .
Carpool and Walk – We encourage you to ‘march to the match’ from Cairde, where you’ll find our supporters group pre-match or utilize the shuttle option from Reuben’s Brews taproom in Ballard.
Parking space at the stadium is extremely limited, so we highly recommend you carpool, walk, or use one of the aforementioned modes of transport. There are also possibilities to use public transit and the monorail together for accessing Seattle Center!
